Cameroon, Africa Orphanage

The Bethlehem Center is located in the village of Mouda, which is located 33 kilometers from the capital of Africa’s Cameroon province. This center was founded for people with physical and mental disabilities, and as an orphanage fro babies and children. This project of our Silent Workers of the Cross is a joint venture with the missionaries of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions (PIME). PIME provides professional training in the various trades of wood carving, batik, tailoring, leather items, carpentry, welding, and farm management. Those with disabilities and the orphans are under the care of the Silent Workers of the Cross. Below are pictures of some of the babies and children with Fr. Janusz Malski, our Director General, and three of our sisters who provide for their care. The babies are returned to their village when they are old enough.
